User Interface Design
Through user interface design, we can help you develop applications
and products that focus on your stakeholders’ experience and interaction.
Unlike traditional design where the goal is to make the object or application
physically attractive, the end goal of user interface design is to make
the user’s interaction experience as simple and intuitive as possible – through
user-centered design. Where good graphic design can be bold, good user
interface design is often subtle and invisible.
A user interface design engagement would include some of the following
activities:
- Develop functional requirements, in order
to determine the stated and implicit factors that your organization
deems to be most important for success
- Evaluate user needs and expectations through interviews
and surveys, in order to identify what your stakeholders want and
need, and how they should use it.
- Create user personas to define the typical users
in terms of demographics, technology, interests and ability.
- Develop interaction flow diagrams to determine
a user’s interaction with the product or application, followed
by wireframing or site prototyping in
order to develop a design-neutral version of your product indicating
placement for navigation, content and dynamic elements.
- Perform usability testing in order to evaluate
the success of our recommendations and identify any unforeseen shortcomings
or inconsistencies.
