Application Architecture
In order to develop solutions that will be best suited for your organization,
the solution development team can develop application architecture
to fit your environment. According to the Microsoft Development
Network (MSDN),
an architecture is the “fundamental organization
of a system, embodied in its components, their relationship
to each other and the environment, and the principles governing
its design and evolution”1 - that
is, how your systems work together.
When designing application architecture, the team at iomer uses four
perspectives to govern their outlook:
The business perspective describes how your business
works, including strategies for moving the organization into their desired
state.
The application perspective describes how your systems
and technology works, including describing how services will support
your intended business processes.
The information perspective describes how your data
works, including standardizing data models and management processes.
The technology perspective describes how your infrastructure
will work, including hardware and software that will support your business
processes.

efficient systems.
